Obstetrics & Gynaecology
Gynaecology and obstetrics are two branches of medicine that deal with the care of women's reproductive health. The gynaecology department in our hospital is responsible for diagnosing and treating conditions that affect the female reproductive system, such as menstrual disorders, infertility, and sexually transmitted infections. On the other hand, Obstetrics department is responsible for caring for pregnant women, their unborn babies, and their newborns.

Gynaecologists specialize in the care of women's reproductive health. They provide a range of services, including routine check-ups and screenings, contraceptive advice, and treatment for conditions such as endometriosis and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). They also perform surgeries, such as hysterectomies or removal of ovarian cysts.

Whereas Obstetricians specialize in caring for pregnant women and their unborn babies. They provide prenatal care, which includes regular check-ups to monitor the health of both the mother and the baby. They also manage the delivery of the baby and provide postnatal care for both the mother and the newborn.
In our gynaecology and obstetrics department, there is a team of nurses, midwives, and other healthcare professionals who work together to provide comprehensive care to patients.
